Земли, отведенные племени сиу по договору, заключенному в форте Ларами [Fort Laramie, Treaty of] в 1868: между реками Платт [Platte River] и Норт-Платт [North Platte River] на юге, р. Миссури [Missouri River] на востоке, р. Йеллоустон [Yellowstone River] на севере и реками Биг-Хорн [Big Horn River] и Литл-Бигхорн [Little Bighorn River] и горами Бигхорн [Bighorn Mountains] на западе. В 1876 сокращена до западной половины Южной Дакоты, в 1877 западная граница передвинута со 104 на 103 меридиан и отрезан треугольник между реками Шайенн [Cheyenne River] и Белл-Фурш [Belle Fourche River]. В 1889 разбита на 6 резерваций с одновременным отторжением значительной части земель
